Minesweeper#

A classic Minesweeper game implementation that runs directly in your browser. Left-click to reveal cells, right-click to flag potential mines. The first click is always safe!

How to Play#

  • Left Click: Reveal a cell

  • Right Click: Place/remove a flag

  • Touch & Hold: Flag on mobile devices

  • Keyboard: Use arrow keys to navigate, Space/Enter to reveal, F to flag, R to restart

Game Rules#

  1. The goal is to reveal all cells that don’t contain mines

  2. Numbers indicate how many mines are adjacent to that cell

  3. Use flags to mark suspected mine locations

  4. Your first click is always safe - no mine will be placed there

  5. The game ends when you reveal a mine (lose) or all safe cells (win)

Difficulty Levels#

  • Beginner: 9×9 grid with 10 mines

  • Intermediate: 16×16 grid with 40 mines

  • Expert: 16×30 grid with 99 mines
